Wig, toupee and hair system: what each one is
- Wig: covers the whole head. It goes on and comes off easily, and it doesn’t blend with your hair because it covers it completely.
- Toupee: covers only the top of the head. The traditional kind usually clips on and comes off every day.
- Hair system: covers only the area where hair is missing, with a very fine skin or lace base attached with adhesive or tape. It blends with your hair and you wear it day and night until the next maintenance session.

Men’s natural-hair wig or hair system
If you’re after a natural-hair wig so it doesn’t show, and you still have hair on the sides and back, a hair system usually suits you better: it only covers what’s missing and blends with your hair. The hair systems in our shop are made with 100 % human hair.
If you’ve lost the hair on your whole head, a wig or a full hair system may suit you. We look at it with you in the consultation, which is free.

If you’re in Barcelona, we can also fit and maintain it for you, at our hair system centre or at your home: fitting with the hair system included costs 530 €.

- Wig: if you’ve lost all your hair and want to put it on and take it off whenever you like.
- Traditional toupee: if you only want it now and then and don’t mind taking it off every day.
- Hair system: if you want hair all day long, also in the shower, during sport or while sleeping, blended with your own. In return, it needs maintenance every 7-14 days.

Do you sell wigs or toupees?
We sell men’s hair systems, today’s version of the toupee, in our Crinova Hair System shop. We don’t sell wigs.
